Leckey Nature Reserve

In October 2008, a 177 acre Conservation Easement was finalized on Mrs. Molly Leckey’s farm in Cramahe.

Location: Northumberland County, Cramahe Township, Part of Lots 28 & 29, Concession 9

Size: 177 acres or 71.6 hectares

History: The Baseline Documentation was completed in November after extensive research on the property during the summer.

A celebration for Mrs Leckey’s friends was held on the property in October and more than 30 people went for walks, guided by the Leckey family, on the extensive network of well-maintained trails.

Molly Leckey has dedicated this Conservation Easement to her late husband Bud.
